Black out...

Wands… check. Broomsticks… check. Wizards… check. Gary Oldman… aw crap!

Those lovely people at Warner Bros have kicked off production on Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix without acquiring the services of Brit method-master Gary Oldman.

Oldman has played Sirius Black in the last two outings for JK Rowling’s boy-wizard but as his manager admits - they are leaving it a bit late if they intend on roping him back to Hogwarts for another stint.

“You will be shocked to learn there are no plans for Gary to appear in the film,” Douglas Urbanski told a UK tabloid. Warner mouthpiece Vanessa Davis says that Oldman is simply not required on set just yet. “With any film the priority is confirming the cast who will be on the set from the outset,” she stated.

Despite this, Urbanski remains… well, pissed off. “To say we are puzzled is an understatement,” he continued. “We are left with no choice but to pursue other employment for him.”

We’ve got some filing needs doing if he’s at a lose end…
