Forget hanging out with family and friends, eating turkey and mince pies, and opening presents...the new Deadpool trailer on December 25th just might be the highlight of the Christmas period. 20th Century Fox's #12DaysofDeadpool campaign has been saturating us with marketing materials for over a week now, and the latest comes in the form of an IMAX poster - featuring Stan Lee - and a hilarious IMAX teaser trailer that somehow manages to include a chimichanga analogy. Check them out below...
Fans of Deadpool have likely already been won over by what they've seen so far, but the big question come February will be whether or not audiences who aren't familiar with the character are intrigued enough to give the film a chance. Whatever the case, this looks like it will be one of the more faithful comic book adaptations, and that can only be a good thing.
Directed by Tim Miller and starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller and Gina Carano, Deadpool will open in UK cinemas on February 4, 2016 before arriving in US theatres on February 12, 2016.
