Welcome to Official Xbox Magazine's new home!

Hi there! This is Matthew Castle, editor of Official Xbox Magazine and overseer of this, our exciting new online home. The kind folks at GamesRadar+ invited us to share their corner of the internet and I couldn't resist. For one, GR's tiled interface is a lot more boxier than our old stomping ground, and every time I see a box I am reminded of the word 'Xbox', filling my heart with a warm glow. Cast your eye over our tiled homepage and I'm sure you'll feel better for it.

Our aim here is to continue the fine work started at TotalXbox, creating the ultimate site for all things Xbox. I'm talking about the latest news, insightful opinion pieces, timely reviews of every game released (barring some of the super smutty XBLIG offerings) and long form features for you to get your teeth into. We'll be running some classic content from the magazine, as well as offering loads of new words from Team OXM and friends.

Right now, the team is still powering up - hey, it wouldn't be a true Xbox experience without a small update to sit through - but you'll see plenty of fresh articles appearing on a daily basis. We also plan to ramp up our video offering, streaming some of the biggest games before they hit stores, so keep an eye out for those. And please do let me know what you think; either in the comment thread below or by email (matthew.castle@futurenet.com). My inbox is always open.

For the time being, make yourself at home. You can start by bookmarking our page (www.gamesradar.com/oxm). Or why not load us up in Xbox One's Internet Explorer and pin us to the Dashboard? Squint and our wall of tiles almost resembles an Xbox dash – another win for the new website design. Er, right? And if you haven't already, do create a user account and get involved. Thanks for reading!
