Overwatch cheaters are being given lifetime bans that actually work

So here's a tip. Don't cheat at Overwatch. Blizzard doesn't like it. And even if you buy the game again on PC then you're still not playing any time soon. As reported by PC Gamer, more than 1572 players have been banned in China already and a slew of complaint posts on hack websites prove that there's stacks of cheaters here in the West who have felt the wrath of the ban hammer.

Incredibly, one particular cheater has bought the game four times since messing around with the code in the beta and has been banned every time, despite changing MAC address, processor ID, BiosDate and using a VPN. Ouch. Really shouldn't have played with making the walls disappear then...

Overwatch now has more than 7 million players and it's great to see that Blizzard is taking such a strong stance on anyone trying to cheat their way to the top.
