The developers from Tribute Games (creators of the Scott Pilgrim beat-‘em-up) have blessed us with the run-and-gun greatness that is Mercenary Kings. If you've never heard of this PC/PS4 2D shooter, you could think of it as “Metal Slug on crack.” But this game is more than a mere Metal Slug clone: take classic bullet-dodging, side-scrolling action, toss in a little weapon crafting, and sprinkle in open-ended stage design. Now you're cookin' with gas.
