If you're not familiar, Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space is the second season of Telltale Games' episodic adventure revival for the freelance crimefighters; Trials HD kicked off the white-knuckle motocross platforming series on Xbox 360; Alan Wake's American Nightmare is a Twilight Zone styled spinoff that ties up some loose ends from the original game's cliffhanger ending; and Lego Batman: The Video Game is like Batman but if everything was made out of Lego.

Microsoft also confirmed that Alan Wake will join the backwards compatible lineup, and that every copy of Quantum Break (developer Remedy's latest project) will include a digital copy of the nocturnal adventure. Expect more backwards compatible games to roll out intermittently now that Microsoft has decided against the monthly update format.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
