Imagine Crazy Stupid Love reimagined as a failed BBC3 pilot, swapping that film’s insight and charm for wanking gags and gender politics that’d make an Inbetweener scoff.

“Dateless wonder” James (Simon Phillips) decides to embrace the dating scene after his best mate’s suicide, employing the help of inexplicably successful (and creepy) lothario Ampersand (Craig Conway).

Small mercies like a few snigger-earning cameos and a single likeable character (Stephanie Leonidas’ Patch) can’t break the losing streak.
