The 47-song tracklist for Green Day: Rock Band was revealed today byEntertainment Weekly. As we feared, it's choked with the band's recent works while totally igoring their pre-mainstream beginnings. The game is meant to take you through the band's career a la Beatles: Rock Band, but uh, Green Day didn't "begin" with the 15-million-selling Dookie. There's tons of shit left out, likely for future DLC mining, but that's not to say the entire list is crap.

This is in addition to the existing 21st Century DLC, which you can import into the game for free if you've already picked it up. That makes the game's content three complete albums (Dookie, American Idiot and 21st Century) plus a smattering of singles from other albums... except Kerplunk and 39/Smooth. We detailed what songs we wantedlast month- looks like we got a few, but not a lot.
