Bethesda has released the first gameplay trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and it's no flash-in-flash-out teaser likeyesterday's Battlefield 3 video- it's almost three minutes of stunning vistas, fire-breathing dragons, and stabby swords, all overtop a chanting choir and Max Von Sydow voice-over (so you know it's a fantasy game). They said it would use a new, better-looking engine, and it certainly appears that way. And, according to Bethesda community manager Nick Breckon, it's Xbox 360 footage.
"Just to clarify, all of this trailer was captured on Xbox 360. Also, the draw distance is not faked in any way," wrote Breckon on his Twitter account. We look forward to seeing it on PC.
