Christopher Nolan in talks to direct Interstellar

Christopher Nolan is in talks to direct sci-fi thriller Interstellar , Heat Vision reports.

We’ve been waiting with bated breath to see what the man behind the Dark Knight trilogy would pick as his follow-up project for Rises , and we might just have found our answer.

Interstellar sounds typically Nolan-esque: not only ambitious in terms of scale and ideas, it’s based on a script by his brother and frequent collaborator Jonathan Nolan.

According to Heat Vision , the story is based on the theories of physicist Kip Thorne, and will explore time travel and alternate dimensions.

With a complex deal said to be nearing completion, the film is set up at Paramount but will be jointly produced by Paramount and Warner Bros.

There’s no word on casting yet, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see some familiar faces from the Nolanverse come aboard (surely Michael Caine’s clearing some room in his schedule…)

Another brain-flexing sci-fi thriller from the Inception director? Where do we sign up.
