The pair will strip the story back down to its 1930s origins – a group of Texas Rangers is ambushed and seemingly slaughtered by outlaws. But the sole survivor is nursed back to health by a Native American named Tonto and swears revenge – even if it means donning a mask, firing only silver bullets and not killing anyone.
