Gearbox has today announced fresh details for the Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest Halloween event, which will take place in the recently released looter shooter for a limited time next month, from a yet to be announced date.
As revealed on today's episode of The Borderlands Show, Bloody Harvest will be available for anyone who has completed the first act of Borderlands 3, as "Haunted Enemies" will begin to appear across the galaxy, able to inflict players with a new Terror debuff, restricting their vision and gun handling.
Kill enough of these Haunted Enemies, however, and your Vault Hunter will eventually unlock access to "a new event-specific map", which promises spooky rewards to add to the list of the best Borderlands Legendaries already in the game so far.

Another NPC, Maurice, will also be showing up on Sanctuary 3 for the event, as your go-to vendor the Bloody Harvest's new Hectoplasm currency, dropped by Haunted enemies and used to purchase limited-time loot.
The Bloody Harvest map features Rakk-O-Lanterns, Maliwan lackies, and more, culminating with a boss fight against Captain Haunt, a Halloween-themed remix on the Borderlands 3 Captain Traunt battle during the main campaign. On top of all this, the limited time even will provide players the opportunity to acquire a new ECHO device skin, weapon trinket, skin, and outfit for each of the four Vault Hunters.
Borderlands 3 creative director Paul Sage also released another key for the growing list of Borderlands 3 Shift Codes, and offered more clarity around the game's ongoing technical issues, which have been partially remedied via the recent set of Borderlands 3 patch notes clamping down on loot farming.
