If you're still on the fence about Prey, the sci-fi game from Dishonored studio Arkane and publisher Bethesda, perhaps some hands-on time will help you make up your mind. Lucky you, you can have exactly that when an hour-long demo - appropriately titled "Prey Demo: Opening Hour" - arrives for Xbox One and PS4 on April 27.
Personally, I think this is a great move by Bethesda and Arkane. Prey is kind of a complicated game. On the surface it sure seems familiar, what with its "aliens could end up destroying the planet" plot, but then you start getting into the fun, weird stuff. Stuff like using a gun that shoots glue globs, or transforming into a banana.
Hopefully this demo gives people a good idea of what's in store for them when the full version of Prey releases on May 5.
Want some ideas of how to play? Check out some potent power combos and see what we had to say in our preview.
