Neca Heroes of the Storm

NECA is no stranger to video game action figures, with a legion of Gears of War soldiers and cool BioShock creations available at retail, just to name a few. Its take on Blizzard's "hero brawler" mash-up offers fully articulated action figures (a first for any Blizzard figure line) in NECA's signature seven-inch format. Series one includes Nova and Illidan at around $24.99 each, hitting early Summer 2015. Stitches will be a deluxe boxed figure hitting mid-to-late Summer. Then series two brings Tyrael and Arthas to stores in late summer to early fall. Note that Stitches is actual figure size in the image above while the others are two-up prototypes.

FREEing figma Silent Hill Red Pyramid Head

We move into the top 10 with a monster that has got to be one of the most fan requested in the realm of action figures. It isn't easy to forget the massive Pyramid Head as he drags his massive butcher knife after you. figma presents this iconic titan in its signature subtly articulated format. The package includes his Great Knife and spear accessories, alternate hands, alternate neck parts (don't see that every day) and a stand for dynamic posing. Look for this to start hitting specialty shops this April (as per Good Smile Company's listing), though Amazon lists it ascoming in July for $64.99.

Square Enix Metal Gear Solid V Play Arts Kai Man on Fire

There are some figures that make toy fans unanimously shout "I WANT THAT!!!" regardless of any foreknowledge of the character, the property it comes from, or even the company making it a reality. Man On Fire is one of those figures, though being from the Play Arts Kai family of figures surely doesn't hurt the drool factor. The line is known for super articulation and excellent extras, though the price point is often what you might pay for three six-inch figures these days. Is it Volgin or just a guy who smoked too close to his gas tank? We'll have to wait and see! This piece's price and date are still to be determined, so keep watching for that pre-order to drop.

The Coop Team Fortress 2 Portable Mercs

The Coop is heading into Team Fortress 2 with a blind box "Portable Mercs" mini figure series, and each little box is contains one of the many cartoony combatants you know and love. The Series 2 lineup is under wraps at the moment, but Series 1 is out and ready for your perusal.

Jakks Pacific World of Nintendo 8 bit Plush

Jakks mines your 8-bit love with some killer plushies celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Nintendo Entertainment System, featuring Link, Mario, and Luigi to kick things off in pixelated glory. Hug them, squeeze them, toss them at people and see if they turn into gold coins, or just stick them on your couch and rest your head on them. No price or date are available yet, so don't sleep on it if you see one in stores.

Neca Dante from Devil May Cry

NECA's Dante is easily one of the best renditions of the white-haired demon slayer committed to plastic. With over 35 points of articulation, Dante is extra-detailed, down to his trademark trench coat, which features a billowing sculpt. The figure includes Ebony and Ivory pistols with removable muzzle bursts, Dante's sword Alastor, a shotgun, and interchangeable hands. It even comes in deluxe window box packaging with an opening flap that recreates the original game's box art. It's only going to have one production run and will start retailing for around $24.99 in May.

Funko Pop! Evolve Goliath Oversized Vinly Figure

Here we have the Goliath creature from Evolve, ready to devour those innocent looking Marvel Comics Pops you've been collecting! Funko abandons its typical soft curves and smooth lines to present a true monster (albeit a six-inch tall one) with claws, horns and battle scars. This March you'll find Goliath on shelves where Funko products are sold, as well as a GameStop exclusive Savage Goliath for around $14.95. The line also includes Markov, Maggie, Val, and Hank in the traditional Pop figure scale.

Mattel BoomCo Halo Needler Blaster

BOOMco's new line of Halo armaments includes this clever interpretation of the Needler. Reps said it will shoot far and true, and will also stick to BOOMco targets, should you want to get a little target practice in before storming your office with darts. You'll have 16 rounds at your disposal as you enter the bright purple fray. Major retailers like Target, Kohls, and Walmart already carry BOOMco products, so you probably won't have to look too far to find the whole line starting this fall.

Neca Classic Video Game Appearance 7 inch Action Figures

In a world where every concept has been done two or three times, NECA has come up with a brand new way to present our favorite movie characters as they appeared in classic video games. This year's new crop includes Godzilla, the Dog Alien, Predator, Rocky, Rambo and a Gremlin. Your local Toys "R" Us and most major online retailers carry this line, from $20 to $24.99 a pop.

Jakks Pacific World of Nintendo 20 Inch Link Figure

The World of Nintendo Link figure comes in at a giant 20 inches tall with 7 points of articulation, his iconic shield, sword, and sheath on his back. This highly detailed figure and all of his accessories are surefire crowd-pleasers. No word yet on a concrete release date. but the SRP is $29.99.! Since all of JAKKS' World of Nintendo figures have wound up at mass retail to date, we expect to see Link at your favorite brick and mortar and online shops soon enough.
