Prototype: New shots, not for the kids

New Prototype screenshots have emerged from the game's newly-launched website. Check them out right here.

The game's set in modern-day Manhattan where Alex Mercer - the Prototype - has the ability to shapeshift and smash people into tiny bits of flesh, thanks to some dodgy gene modification work.

What follows is an epic three-faction scuffle between yourself, the military and the hordes of monstrous mutants which are tearing through NYC. Basically, it's like what would happen if Cloverfield went to Liberty City.

It's still down for a vague release date in 'summer'.
