Naruto: Rise of a Ninja

First look at Naruto: Rise of a Ninja

We have screens and a video of Naruto for the 360

Thursday 17 May 2007
We got our first video and screens for Naruto: Rise of a Ninja today. The video is filled with super-fast ninja fighting, Xbox 360 level visuals and everyone's favorite ninja, Naruto Uzumaki bouncing off the buildings and running up trees just like he should.

So far, we know that the game will start at the beginning of the series and let players follow Naruto from his beginning as a noisy Ninja Academy drop-out into a well respected ninja in the village of Konoha. Along the way, he'll encounter many of the manga's characters, including Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi, while freely exploring the village and its surroundings.

As far as the gameplay is concerned, Ubisoft has promised that the game will blend action adventure elements with classic platforming head-to-head battles. You'll be able to take Naruto through his adventures by following the storyline, or you can pick your favorite characters and face them off in arcade style tournaments against your friends.
