Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle to include Alan Wake, Forza 3

Microsoft frontman Major Nelson has let loose with details on the Xbox 360's upcoming Holiday Bundle, filling his blog with visions of tormented authors, racing games and big hard drives.

Scheduled to arrive at stores over the next few weeks, the Xbox 360 2010 Holiday Bundle will feature an Xbox 360 250 GB Console, a copy of Forza 3, and a token with which good little boys and girls can download a full copy of Alan Wake. The bundle will sell for US $299.99.

Bear in mind that this is the Kinect-free bundle, as 4GB and 250GB Kinect bundles are already on shelves now for $299 and $399, respectively. So if you're hoping for a Kinect this year, make sure to check your list twice to avoid any parental/spousal confusion.

This is a good deal but not the type of deal I was looking for sadly. But first I must get a new laptop before I get a new 360. ReCaptcha: became modencon- master of the interwebs!

This is a lame holiday bundle. If I were to download a 6 gb game off of XBL my internet bill would go up by like $50.

Finally, I'm sorta interested. it only took them 5 years...

@Bonesqaw Its not sold only in bundles but its $50 cheaper than buying them seperately.

@Bonesqaw It's not? This is a non-Kinect bundle, but there are Kinect bundles. Or you can buy Kinect separately.

Sweet. I was afraid the two-game 360 bundles had gone forever before I could get my hands on one. Also, I didn't know the 360 was going to be sold exclusively with Kinect. Makes sense to get them out there

This is a pretty great deal, as Alan Wake is a criminally underrated game.

Maybe some people will play Alan Wake now...
