News flash! Hedgehogs don’t wear sneakers, plumbers don’t save princesses and archaeologists – even when female – don’t dig through the dirt dressed like Hooters waitresses. Yes, yes, yes, we all know videogames are rather ridiculous when you stop and think about them…

Why mock the virtual world for being so bizarre, however, when you can mock the real world for being so damn dull? Our hobby might distort our reality beyond all recognition, but based on these 30 comparisons, maybe reality is just overrated.

    Pffft. Of course CNN loses out on holograms, their hologram was a cheap, extremely expensive trick involving like 50 HD cameras.
