looks to me like Gears, Dark Void and Halo made a baby

This is a slick, wicked game. I'm getting this when it comes out.

@sTiNatey I played normal mode, and never died, or even got close to dying. The only third person shooter I've played before this was Uncharted, so maybe it's your play style? The difficulty works well with me, anyway...

Yeah disregard my earlier comment... I just played the demo and this game is BADASS.

I had a lot of fun in the demo. Didn't really know what to expect from the game but I enjoyed it immensely. Definitely felt like a Sega game to me.

Ah, I just read an article saying that the XBLA demo is delayed until tomorrow. :(

Hell it's the afternoon in the UK now and I still can't download it I get the feeling the UK is being left out... again

Yeah they took the demo off live. Something was probably fucked up with it so they had to take it down... not a good start for this title that already looked mediocre anyway.

I was about to start complaining about how I can't see it, but thank you those who have informed me that it won't show up until the afternoon. That said, I can't wait to play it. It looks like the most promising game I've seen in a while, and from the previews I've read, it sounds like the action in it puts the likes of Uncharted to shame.

@DaBadGuy I'm getting the exact same message when I'm trying to download it. I don't know why the heck it's doing that :/ If anyone can help or at least knows why it's doing this it would be much appreciated. I really hope the download starts working, This looks like a freaking amazing game and I can't wait to get my grubby little paws on the demo :)

I can't download it here in the US. It says "Sorry, this item is no longer available". Um....what the hell?
  • suicidalpigeon - September 1, 2010 10:53 a.m.

no sign of the demo in the UK
  • higganos - September 1, 2010 9:08 a.m.

It might pop at mid-day in Europe folks.
  • NathanXplosion - September 1, 2010 6:49 a.m.

It's a fun shooter but with everything else that is coming out this year Vanquish will have to wait till next year.
  • robovski - September 1, 2010 6:17 a.m.

Euro updates don't usually show until the afternoon on Wednesdays. Hence this isn't up yet in the UK and other european countries.

As i'm typing this, the demo has not appeared on my xbox in Finland

I was hoping for something else, I guess, from the people who made Bayonetta and were involved in Okami. This isn't really my sort of game, unfortunately, because I really need something new pretty soon.

    I'm liking it
