U BEAUTY! It’s the GamesRadar UK Podcast Question Box

Welcome to the GamesRadar UK Podcast Question Box, our bi-weekly regular receptacle for all of your ponderances and musings. If you have a question or a comment or an observation or a declaration of love/hate to direct at any or all members of the GRUK team, this is the place do to it. We will then answer/respond to as many of them as possible on next week's GamesRadar UK Podcast.

Here's a picture of the GRUK Podcast Question Box™. It's exciting, but will become even more exciting once it's full of your stuff:

What should you ask? Feel free to ask anything you want that's game-related (or even completely not game-related if you fancy). Potential hot topics of discussion for you to consider: Wii U release date and price and launch line-up. Got something Resident Evil 6 on your mind – Hooters is the man with all the Resi 6 knowledge. Or perhaps you’ve got something to ask our extra special guest back by popular demand erstwhile GamesRadar ‘man’ David Meikleham. That’s right people - Meiks will be joining us in the studio for what is bound to be an emotional reunion (now that the restraining order has been lifted).

So yes. Questions. Put yours in our box via the comments below. Then feel free to peruse our treasury of previous aural delights by way of our archive of ye olde past GamesRadar UK podcasts. They're old, but by God, are they sexy. And don't forget there's the RadioRadar podcast from our US brethren to check out as well. Ears have never had it so good.

What ho chaps ! Glad to hear Meiks is returning as a guest of the podcast . I miss his barely coherent ramblings on all things Jurassic Park / MGS. Anyway , a question for you . Have you ever been invited / sent to preview a game onsite with a developer where said game looks / plays like a steaming pile of chateau ? More importantly , have you communicated this to the developer and how do you do that diplomatically ? Keep your peckers up Rgds, gazdog9

An obvious one that I'm sure you've answered before, but what is your theme song? I know it's by Sabrepulse but what's the exact track name I need to look for on itunes, and is it on one of his albums?
  • KidKatana - September 14, 2012 5:05 a.m.

Oh wait, I just remembered the internet exists and it's the Tafjel Nipple remix of Sabrepulse's Famicom Connection, available on Sabrepulse's eponymous album. I bet Cundy will read this out anyway just to say Tafjel Nipple.

Hello GRUK podcast legends Two quick questions. What do you think of the wii u price point? Can't help feeling £280 is a little steep considering the next gen machines might land at £300 - 350. Doubt either would try a £425 price point after the poor ps3 start and current financial climate. Second is I have to call out Dave on the ps3 has the best downloadable games. Discounting limbo and bar Journey what else is there? I have both consoles and have way more downloadable games + indie games on the 360. Fez, dead light, leave home, bastion, trials hd to name a few on Xbox. I always find the ps3 hides the gems away on the store and would like to know Dave's list so I can add these to my collection. Hugs and kisses to all bar Justin. Nothing for Justin this week as I got lollipop chainsaw on the strength of his enjoyment and it was rubbish. Traded it in now for darksiders 2. Sorry Justin.

Hello Men of GR 2 Questions this week. I recently started playing playing ocarina of time on my 3ds again. But for a change i thought i would try the altered master quest. But due to my nostalgic view of the game in its original form i could not enjoy the different version of the game. Have you ever had a similar experience when you have not be able to enjoy an altered, remade or 'upgraded' version of a game? And also my second question. will the erection section/appreciation section ever make a comeback or is it lost forever? Much love for you guys, your Cornish friend Kez Cunliffe xxxxxx

Howdy. This is my first time so be gentle. I've been playing Mortal Kombat's story mode on my vita and while its good, shlocky fun the Shao Kahn fights are so broken by design they pretty much negate any love for the game. What's the most broken aspect of any otherwise good game by design? Cheers. Xoxo

Hello, You didn't answer my question on the last 'cast, but I'll forgive you. It works out better like this anyway, as it concerns a certain returning Scot's favourite game. Here it is, directly copied and pasted from the last Question Box: Would you snog Paul Gascoigne's lifelong chum and confidante Jimmy Five-Bellies on live TV for a finished copy of The Last Guardian? Love you all.

why are the majority of ps2 games on psn absolute crap, what's sony's plan with that?
  • Mooshon - September 14, 2012 5:07 a.m.

The Wii U presentation the other days has brought up loads of questions for me; on pricing, power (the graphics looked a bit shit, right?) and game release timings. I definitely can't see myself upgrading my dusty Wii anytime soon. Questions is, by trying to appeal to everyone at once (kids, casual, hardcore, mobile, social, online tv etc) are they at risk of confusing people into buying into the system too slowly? There are a lot of new concepts and peripherals to get your head around, and Nintendo haven't got too long to convince people before Xbox/PS4 details start emerging. Surprising success or the next dreamcast?

Greetings, gentlemen (and Cundy). My question concerns young David Meikleham. If I recall correctly, he left the podcast because he was murdered by an assassin. This leaves only two possibilities regarding his return: He's either been resurrected as the world's first Scottish zombie, or as the world's first Scottish Van Damme-style universal soldier. Which is it? In either case, you should probably keep an eye on him. Love the show, guys. Keep casting that sweet, sweet pod.

Are you 3 the entire GRUK team? If so how on earth is it still running?
  • Meiklespam - September 14, 2012 7:10 a.m.

    Best gaming footwear?
  • rxb - September 14, 2012 7:23 a.m.

Hi guys at talkrader, my question is about the constant bullying of Justins gaming prowess. What is the most impressive gaming feat that Cundy and Hooters have achieved? Maybe you should have a multi game tournament to decide things once and for all? Glad Meiks is back, Scottish 101 for life!!!!11!!!
  • Goldjit - September 14, 2012 8:36 a.m.

Just got Tekken Tag 2. Really enjoying it. Recommend it to all of you. Unknown (the final stage character) has horribly cheap moves, one of which a huge hand comes from the ground and takes 99% of your character's health and tags him/her out. My question is, what is the worst cheap move/game mechanic/whatever that just filled you with rage.

Hey lads, Would you rather be given a Wii U on launch day, or get to spend said day with Tingle? Not a cosplayer, *the* Tingle, who'll become a real person for the day. Admittedly, this question probably only works for Matt... Oh well. Also, I think you guys should plug your Twitter accounts more often, as I can't remember the last time you did so... P.S. Good to hear Meiks again.

Hullo again, GRUK I've been thinking lately about how hard it can be to talk about the past with games because of how quickly technology and techniques evolve in the industry. Something that was utterly brand new and amazing four or five years ago can be an overdone trope now. Is there any game that you loved or were amazed by that wouldn't really stand out the same way anymore that you wish other people could experience the way you did the first time you played it? (Mine would have to be TIE Fighter) Keep up the fortnightly fun

Hay guys. In your opinion what handheld gaming device should I get, the PSPVita, 3DS XL or the Neo Geo and why?
  • SignorSpielbergo - September 14, 2012 12:01 p.m.

Dearest men of G-Dar UK, In my new job as a learning mentor in a fancy new Secondary free school involves me teaching "The Arts" for 2 lessons a week. I can choose what i want to teach and what area of the arts, so I'm doing one lesson a week on film and one on video games! We have had one session already, where a split the class into XBox, PS3 and Wii and let them argue it out, which they got disturbingly into to the point where I feared blood would be spilt. So my question is: what do you guys think I should cover in future lessons? I've got a few ideas but would love to hear what the experts think - but they didn't get back to me so I thought I'd ask you guys! :-P Thanks gentlemen! Rob
