    My Backburner in TF2 is called the Ass Blaster, I have many flamethrowers like it but it is my favorite.

    Turok 2 had a pretty neat flamethrower. One of the first games i remember having a decent visual effect.

    Allow me to correct my glasses and you at the same time: Well technically that was a chemical thrower it was not limited to fire, it also did ice and electricity. And doing other elements does not make it a better flamethrower it makes it worse.

    Yeah but that was like the one weapon you couldn't get for yourself, and all it really did was set stuff on fire like anything else. Probably excluded because Snake doesn't and there for you don't use it.

    Wow, Mario's the only game here that I've played. I'm surprised there's nothing from Ratchet and Clank here, they've had a few variations of nifty flamethrowers.

    Absolutely! I'd say those were my first flamethrowers (real gun type) in a game! They even had a gun that shot fires bigger brother lava! Exclaim!

    I was kind of hoping for/expecting to see Contra III's and Mega Man X's on here. Still, #1 was good for a laugh, and I wholeheartedly agree that it belongs on the list. Plus, the flower acts like an actual flame thrower in Super Smash Bros.

    Did NONE of you guys play Killing Floor? That had the greatest flamethrower in video games ever!
