Activision has released a trailer of Tony Hawk's Project 8 featuring next-gen footage of the extreme sports game that will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360.
The trailer focuses on the skater's technique while he performs various tricks. Presented in slow-motion you get to see how the board moves through the air, how it's affected by the slightest flicks of the skater's feet and how the trucks creak and take the strain on landing.
It's a very understated presentation but reflects the back to basics approach Neversoft is taking with the latest in the long running series, which will be a departure from the Jackass-ness of the previous games.
