Tommy Lee Jones is suing Paramount Pictures for more than $10 million that the actor claims he is owed for starring in No Country for Old Men.
The lawsuit against the studio claims that Jones was promised “significant box-office bonuses” and other compensations depending on the success of the movie.
According to Associated Press, the suit says that Jones was paid a reduced upfront fee for the movie. Following the success of the movie, Jones allegedly was not paid promised bonuses and had expenses wrongly deducted.
The actor is also requesting an auditor to review the financial records of the movie. We hope that Paramount kept squeaky clean books on this one. This could get messy.
