@ oryandymackie And after you reach contact, ask if you can pre-order Battletoads. Oh THQ, when will you learn, first a new Rare-esque logo and Homefront Balloons. Unless there's a scene in the game where the main character straps on a bunch of Balloons to his back in hopes to combat Koreans and possibly find the location of Paradise falls..just no

So, kids, what have we learnt today? That's right. Whenever THQ stage a dumbass marketing move, contact GameStop.
  • TruckThunders - March 3, 2011 8:25 p.m.

As much as I try to like THQ, their marketing department always seems to make the wrong decisions. Even though many people thought Red Faction: Guerrilla was a good game, THQ marketing simply didn't know how to see it.

    Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou for the 99 Luftballons reference. <3 <3 <3
  • RedhawkAce - March 3, 2011 8:22 p.m.

It;s a sign the reason the balloons went to the water is telling us where the Koreans are going to come from when they attack America thank you THQ you guys just saved a life hahaha

It seems like everything they are doing to promote this game has some kind of repercussion. From what I read yesterday about The Dillinger Escape Plan show, everyone there wasn't for Homefront and Greg (lead singer of DEP) started to climb one of the towers on the stage during one of the guys speech. I got a feeling 90% of those people have already forgotten about Homefront.

This is so dumb. Even children know how hazardous/deadly balloons are for the ocean and the environment.
  • G0D - March 3, 2011 8:03 p.m.

if you have time to complain about shit like this- you really need to get a hobby. They're balloons- THEYRE FUN!
  • awfulfrenchchildactor - March 3, 2011 7:59 p.m.

hahaha 99 luftballons... i love environment super much
  • IceBlueKirby - March 3, 2011 7:59 p.m.

lol, fail. You'd think they could come up with better marketing for a game as promising as Homefront than "OMG BALLOONS!"
  • TheCakeIsaPie - March 3, 2011 7:57 p.m.

Thanks a lot, now "99 Luftballons" is stuck in my head.
