TalkRadar UK Episode 93 - Back to basics

Listen now...

Normal service is resumed this week as we bring back the regular features that played second fiddle to the E3-heavy content of the past two weeks. That means Appreciation Section is back with Cundy holding the reins this week. We have your answers to Question of the Week - What is your lasting memory of E3 2011? - and we answer a selection of your queries you sent to the GamesRadar Hotline.

And if all this isn't enough, there's also a tenuous explanation of possibly the worst play on words you'll hear today from Justin. Check it out.

@leejohnson222 Oh I got no issue with peeps who simply don't dig Nintendo stuff, and that's absolutely fine. It's more the people who specifically go out of their way to react negatively to anything done by Nintendo. I just think it's petty and unfortunate, especially for people like myself who appreciate what Nintendo have and are still doing for gaming.

hhmmm im not sure its narrow minded for people to be down on nintendo if you dont like their 15yr old franchises, i would never say its shit, its just not for me. agree with Nathan that sony didnt really drop anything new on e3 i too expected a large last game announcement, however after our sony rep came round last week and told us that sony lost 180million from the psn hack, its clear to see that money could have gone towards a new IP so these hackers have alot to answer for. Also what the hell is going on with all these new hacks on bioware, nintendo, eve online, escapist, epic ! although i dont mind epic being hacked as i dislike that little ginger twat cliffy b ha ha. I see annoymus now say they didnt want to harm ps3 customers, a little late now since the field of horses have already bolted!

@Mooshon - Any chance you can make Justin as the Roflmao Soldier fan art?

Best episode for a while that, good stuff. Much lol had on the shamen discussion. I would actually purchase a kinect if someone merged Child of Eden with that Boss Drum album. Got any salmon? Sorted!

It's a shame Dave is the only PC gamer out of you guys since when you talked about Fatal Frame being so scary it reminded me of a PC game called Amnesia: The Dark Descent. If you want to properly poop yourself that game is literally capable of doing it. It's so scary I could barely finish the demo, and even though I can appreciate it and want to buy it, I simply can't because I know I won't be able to play it. =S Also agree with Justin about the Wii U; so many people seem inherently down on it, likely because it's made by Nintendo, which is extremely narrow minded. I had similar feelings to Justin when I watched their E3 conference -- I "got it" -- so it's a shame so many try to pull it down purely because of fanboy hate, or general negativity. As gamers anything like this is a potential benefit, and I for one cannot wait to see what it's fully capable of.

E3's over, and its back to bussiness. No more booth-babe Cundy's. Can't wait to listen guys, keep it up!
