Street Fighter X Tekken gets six new characters, teases Pac-Man and Mega Man in new trailers
The roster of the upcoming fighting game grows by six (or maybe eight?) in new videos

Street Fighter X Tekken keeps getting closer, and the game’s already full roster keeps expanding. The newest salvo of screens and videos for the fighting game includes street fighters Balrog, Vega and Juri, who accompany King of Iron Fist competitors Paul, Law and Xiaoyu in the crossover title. But what’s most eye-catching is what comes at the very end of the reveal trailer for those characters. Check out the first of the new trailers below:
Above: The tease comes in at 3:09
These characters are such standbys for both series that we’d have been shocked had they not appeared in the game, but it’s always nice to get confirmation. However, while we knew Sony of Japan’s cat mascot would be playable on the Vita version alongside Infamous’ Cole, that tease at the end seems to indicate that some form of Mega Man and Pac-Man will be in the game, perhaps even playable. Which begs the question: If they’re playable, will these very popular company mascots be Vita exclusive, or will they appear in the console versions, possibly as DLC?
Also, for those that want no nonsense, straight gameplay of the six new fighters, we’ve got that too, in both Capcom and Namco flavors.
And last but not least, if you’d rather see more of SFXT’s plot mixed with snazzy CG action, this new cinematic trailer should do the job.
Street Fighter X Tekken comes to 360 and PS3 March 6, with PS Vita and PC versions planned for later this year.
