See Lara Croft go all Diablo in latest Guardian of Light trailer

If you haven’t already seen it yet, check out the latest trailer for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The new isometric angles on the action smack of Diablo, which seems fitting for the star of the Tomb Raider series. Now, it looks like Lara can also add dungeon crawling to her list of skills.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will launch on Xbox LIVE on August 18, as part of the Summer of Arcade program, and will be available for PSN and PC via Steam at a later date.

This looks either like a ton of fun or like a pure boring grinding slogfest. recaptcha: gretzky wins

@Ensoul Thanks for the info my friend at first when you said 1200 i said no i wont get it but with the promotion of buying three games ill probably get this, Limbo, and Monday Night Combat

@Thuperman: Last I heard 1200 msp. In fact I'm pretty sure all the Summer games are 1200 msp. I can't say I'm too interested; but I am interested in just about every other title (Limbo, Hydro Thunder, Castlevania HD, Monday Night Combat). With one of their promotions being buy all 5 and get 1200 msp back it essentially makes one of them free. (There's a second promotion involving buying at least 3 to get 400 msp) Currently I'm debating whether to wait for the inevitable sale of these games and buying them later, or getting them all now and picking one up for free.

I am either insanely excited, or disgusted with Lara... The rye is making it difficult to tell. Regardless, I will give it a go, might be a nice surprise?

I just finished Deathspank, which was great, and was my first Diablo type game, and I still enjoy Tomb Raider games, but I'm not sure I'm very interested in this. More action has never been what I've wanted from Tomb Raider.

Does anyone know if there was a set price for this yet? Im not sure if i want to get this yet and the price might be the deciding factor for me

@juicenpancakes Looks like Chris, Mikel, and Justin have all posted coverage on this game... :)

I don't remember if it was you Tyler, it may have been Chris who had the hands-on with this game, but it as good as it seems? I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic, but every time I see or read something new about it I get more hyped up.
