PS Vitas US 3G plan with AT&T increases (slightly) before system launch

Just as the New Year was beginning, we were settling into this fresh reality that included the pricing of the PS Vita’s exclusive 3G contract with AT&T. As we reported during an otherwise dreary CES, the Vita’s wireless network plans were either $14.99 for 250MB per month and $25 for 2GB per month. That pricing structure looks to have changed already, and not for the cheaper.

As explained on the official page, the second plan is both more expensive and grants more information every 30 days. Now the plan will run you $30 a month and nets you 3GB at a time, so at least you’ll get something more for the increased fee. The $14.99 offer is unchanged, and both are still month to month with no contract needed.

We ask all you potential PS Vita owners out there in the US, how does this affect your plans? Does this make any of you reconsider (one way or another) purchasing the 3G model?
