Project P-100 gameplay - Quickplay

Aliens! Super heroes! Explosions! Massive robots! All on the Wii U? Yeah, it's a thing. And for some reason, Nintendo opted to keep the spotlight off of Platinum Games' Project P-100, a Wii U title made by the team behind Bayonetta and designed by some of the minds responsible for Okami. Rest assured, however, that we wouldn't let this game slip through the cracks.

While we didn't have a chance to sit down with the game for an extended period of time at E3, we recently had an opportunity to make up for it by getting a better look at the game in a more casual environment, and recorded the results for you to enjoy. Take a look, and tell us what else you want to know about this exciting title and we'll be sure to hunt down any information we can.

...Holy crap this looks awesome! I mean, I only had seen the trailer so far, but seeing the game being played with more detail here really helps you appreciate how frigging awesome this actually is. I love the over the top-ness of it all, and even the graphics look fantastic, very crisp and detailed. I admit, if there is one reason why would I'd consider getting a wii u, this game's so far the strongest one. Also, i honestly don't get why people were comparing it to pikmin, aside from the fact that what you use is a group of superheroes, I really see nothing that similar about them.

Getting some Viewtiful Joe vibes from the character design, especially blue there who reminds me of Alastor. Really cool to see Platinum branching out a bit, (Something not total balls out awesome action-splosions... Ignoring Infinite Space) if I do get a Wii U I definitely would be watching this.

the wii u reminds of the gba and gc connectivity with four swords adventures. that totally needs a remake, one of the best multiplayer games ever

If I'm getting a Wii-U for anything, it'll be for this. It's got that real over-the-top Platinum vibe that I love, and, though I've never played Pikmin, I think I can see it's influences. I can definitely see why kids'd love this.
