Nintendo Land Metroid gameplay - See MiiSamus in action

Each area in Nintendo's theme park-inspired Nintendo Land is based on a different franchise in the publisher's history, and yesterday we had a chance to check out how the Metroid attraction works. Take a look at the video below for some asymmetrical gameplay in action.

Watching this gets us excited not just for Nintendo Land (though we are excited for Nintendo Land), but for other games that might take advantage of this breed of multiplayer. All you need to do is imagine a Mario Party with minigames like this, and you'll suddenly see the full potential of what the GamePad can add to local multiplayer. In the meantime, though, watch the video above, and stay tuned for more Wii U coverage as the system's release approaches.

Really guys? A minute long ad is really pushing my patience... especially when the video is only 2 minutes long!
