New Crysis 2 trailer kindly requests that we 'be the weapon'

"Ordinary men are but piles of flesh and bone," says the nano suit's creator in the new 'Be Strong' Crysis 2 trailer. Apparently we're too weak to stand up to mean 'ol aliens without the help of Crysis' human-enhancing nanites - uh, hello, did you not see Predator? Well, anyway, being strong, invisible, fast and "the weapon" does look and sound like some lovely mayhem, so check out the trailer:

Crysis 2 is scheduled for release on March 25. Want to see us doing our best to not suck in the multiplayer demo? That's a really specific desire, but you're in luck!

At first I thought I was watching more Deus Ex: Human Revolution but then at the end I thought I was watching an Army recruitment commercial. ^^ Game looks great and I can't wait to finally be able to play a Crysis game!

@asspills You're forgetting that the suit had that force field maximum armor thing that can be activated, and keeping an explosive from detonating when it hits sounds like exactly the sort of thing a force field would be able to do, by redistibuting force and all that jazz.

Ugh that song distracted me from the trailer. Ugh... it's going to drive me nuts trying to find that song.

its always kind of annoying to go to watch a new trailer and have to watch a trailer that paid for the trailer. not complaining about gdar b/c everyone does it. anyway this looks pretty good. didnt care for the music in the trailer but the game looks good.

It's a good thing science can deflect the impact force of a tank-shell with a 1 inch thick, flexible body-suit, without killing or injuring the person inside of it, OR even causing the shell to detonate. Science.

"Be the weapon." Kinect support announcement? Jumping in the air and then punching the floor could cause problems in many a living room.
