Mortal Kombat: First DLC to feature klassic character skins and fatalities

Developer NetherRealm Studios recently announced the first DLC pack for the new Mortal Kombat. The package offers all the “klassic” character skins previously offered as pre-order extras from various retailers. The DLC will feature seven new skins for Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Ermac, Mileena, Jade, and Kitana that’ll make them look old school – and will also include “klassic” fatalities for Reptile, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero.

The klassic skins and fatalities DLC pack will cost 400 Microsoft Points on XBLA  and $4.99 on PSN – and will launch on Tuesday, June 7.

Great pricing. Way better than Capcom and their SF/MvC DLC bullshit. I already have Klassic Kitana, Sub-Zero and Reptile though, so I don't think I'll be buying it. But at that price, it's great.

More importantly, shouldn't it be called "DLK"? As in "DownLoadable Kontent"?

@Turboash The K's really only work in place of C's if they're pronounced with similar sounds...kease? Really?

And yet, one would argue that Marcus Fenix and the Gears franchise he is part of, is an annual waste of money, and kinda stupid. Ah, the love of opinions. By the way, you're a cock. :)

@Syncmaster Ahhh your right i do recall somewhere that if the game was a big success there would be some sort of free DLC and there im guessing is not. And yes once again these are basically simple things that should of already been on the damn game itself. Yet alone, they don't even have a special character for mortal kombat like kratos on the ps3 version. So technically if anybody buys this your kinda stupid cause its a waste of money lol. Now if the xbox version comes packed with a new character, such as marcus fenix (rumors) then yes its worth it, for outfits? not worth it, matches end fast enough with decent players you dont really get much tie to see there costumes.

Turboash, you Kan't Korrect such Kombatic usage of K's in place of K's. Kome on now, Kan't you just komply with the kommunity's kall? I personally kan't want to purchase this DLC, 5 dollars seems like a reasonable kost if you ask me. Klassic kostumes will add such a nostalgic feel to the kombat we have all kome to love and kherish (that was a long shot).

Kan you kease the unnekessary use of k's in plake of k's!?
