    Fuck you Justin Towell for ruining the ending to a game I plan to play someday. Fuck you.
  • veryweirdguy - June 21, 2012 6:39 a.m.

    Fuck you for expecting the world to conform to what you might play 'someday'. The game is 4 years old, more than enough of a buffer for you to have played it if you cared. Spoilers: Samus is a woman.

    ??? Really????? The game came out in fucking 2008 and you still have not played it? Ok.....

    He wrote an article about the direct sequel to the game. Obviously he's going to mention the ending of the previous game.

    W.A.C. Fuck you for running around with that Avatar. You are not fit to be king of the Braves. Seriously, the game came out in '08. It's not his fault that you haven't played it yet.

    Are you serious? You would have an excuse if it came out in 2011, but the game's four fucking years old, it's far past the "No Spoilers" point. Plus, get it. It is (in my opinion) the best ps3 has to offer.

    It's annoying how people feel the need to get upset over this. If you don't want it, don't get it. It's not like a whole company is supposed to cater to your whims specifically. Personally I'm pumped for this if it's anything like MGS4, which was amazing. Also hoping it's got cut-scenes as awesome as from MGS4. Watching Raiden fight Vamp and the Gekko was a treat.

    The thing is, no one seems to remember what's been given out before about MGS5. Kojima just wants to create hype around his game, that's always a given. Anyone remember MGS2? It's most likely set around 1970s/1980s, with Big Boss in Africa. CVG was talking about seeing the birth of Solid Snake in that game but another ignored fact is (or have I missed a retcon on this?!), that Snake was born in 1973, so already around the time of Peace Walker. So what will more than likely happen is that we will be introduced to a really young Snake to have something new revealed of him in contrast to Old Snake. So MGS5 will still more than likely star Big Boss, instead of Solid Snake, but also more than likely be the debut of young Snake.

    I greatly respect Kojima, and I've held on to his unorthodox ways with unconditional faith, but in the words of Angry Joe IT IS NOT OK. STOP IT! It's pressing enough that they're putting Raiden back though his inner turmoil after what he did to help Snake. But MGS4, the feeling of being this man on his last leg... and pulling through despite the severe physical consequences... not something I want to return to, even if he ISN'T the main character. There's no reason, not even NANOMACHINESOMGSCIENCE why Snake shouldn't be spending the rest of his days on a quiet island. But I totally believe the part about the PR kunoichi though, Konami is a very srs company >.>;

    Welcome to Konami. If you've got a good series, we're going to rape it for all it's worth. We don't care if you wanted to end on 4, we're making 10.

    Snake never actually died at the end of MGS4, it was just *implied*, so I can see this happening, but I am a little worried about what the plot might be, all the bad guys are dead. Gotta admit I'm exited though, always been a huge Metal Gear fan, can't wait to see what Kojima is cooking up now, crazy bastard :p
