Konami has announced release dates for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance’s VR Missions DLC, as well as details of two subsequent game add-ons.
The first DLC pack will introduce 30 new VR Missions featuring challenges designed to test your mettle. In the US, the content will launch on March 12 exclusively for PS3 and will be free to download until April 3. In Europe, it will hit PS3 and Xbox 360 the following day priced at £1.99 on Sony’s console and 240 Microsoft Points (£2.06 / €2.88).
"Soon after", Konami will release two “origin stories” as DLC. "Jetstream centres on the side-story of Sam, and features him as a playable character for the first time, while the Blade Wolf pack focuses on Raiden's enigmatic side-kick and its unique story.”
We said in our Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance review: “It's fast, flashy, and fun--and it's easy to excuse Revengeance's hiccups when even the simplest battles rival the best cutscenes in any previous Metal Gear.”
