LittleBigPlanet Hub creates and shares for free on PS3 in 2013

LittleBigPlanet Hub will bring the create-and-share craftworld to all PS3 gamers for free later this year. Sony revealed the new game at its Gamescom 2013 conference today.

Sackpeople can do just about everything they're used to in the earlier games: design new levels and outfits, share them with friends, and play together online. They can even upload their favorite costumes for others to admire and/or purchase via microtransactions.

Finally, player-created challenges will add a more structured competitive element to the freeform game, with set rewards available for successful players.

What do you think of LittleBigPlanet's new free-to-play direction?

Purchase other people's costume's via microtransactions?... Are you telling me there is the potential to make money from a F2P game on PS3?.... I'm not sure how much I personally could make but just the proposition alone is very intriguing. Can't wait to hear about the guy who makes $10,000 off of LBP Hub microtransactions.

I'm pretty excited. LBP is a concept that lends itself REALLY REALLY WELL to F2P.
