I'm hoping for lots of AAA material from Nintendo so I can justify buying my Wii U. Particularly I want to have details about Wind Waker HD and a new Wii U Zelda as it seems Nintendo haven't said anything more about them since they were announced. Smash Bros details will likewise make me very happy. I'm hoping that Sony pull some good games out of their hats and ensure that the only problem they have come launch day is having too many top games to choose from. News about Uncharted 4 or a new Jak & Daxter (or even something totally new from ND) would probably be the icing on the cake for me. Or better yet, a full sequel to Shadow of the Colossus. Microsoft will pretty much have to knock their conference out of the park to impress me now. Make sure their exclusives don't amount to casual Kinect "fun with Avatars" games and basically show me something other than sci-fi shooters and timed exclusives from third-party games. Speaking of third-party any of the following will make it a good E3 for me: - A brand new Assassin's Creed announcement (as in new character/era) alongside AC4 looking to be as good as AC2. - Watch Dogs gameplay showing something other than AC's mission structure of "Go to A, Eliminate B, Escape from the authorites." - WWE14/2K14 announced and looking to give the series a shake-up. - Fallout 4 announced (Boston or European setting might be nice) - Telltale announce a new Walking Dead with new characters OR Monkey Island. - Capcom apologise for all the disc-locked-content and tell us it wont happen again. - LA Noire 2 or Red Dead 3 announced. - A new Broken Sword announced. - Tomb Raider sequel announced. - SSX sequel announced that properly goes back to its roots.

Does the Nintendo Direct count as a part of E3? If it does then that, all of that.

I would say Sonic, but I know I am apparently not allowed to enjoy Sonic games, as described in RadioRadar 042 by the hosts.

Rather than simply saying what I'm most looking forward to at E3 to try and keep things interesting I'm going to interject my own thoughts on those of the GR staff mentioned in the article. Hollander Cooper is hoping for some real next-gen games: The problem here is that looking at the specs of the Xbox One and PS4, the reason titles on them only look like those you can already find on PC is because the tech behind them is pretty much comparable to a mid end PC (albeit with good RAM), this is why the first impressions of next gen games so far don't have as much of a "wow factor" as those of previous gen games years earlier which when compared to PC's of their time were exceedingly powerful. Microsoft even admitted that they weren't targeting highest specs when making the Xbox One and that is saying something. So while the next gen may not look to be as large of a leap as I may have liked, things such as the extremely impressive Deep Down demo give me hope that developers will still find ways to wow us using their technical skills and creativity. Sophia Tong wants to think that Final Fantasy XV will be there: Going to keep this one brief since I tend to be pretty biased against modern FF games, right now one of the big rumours is Final Fantasy Versus XIII has spent the last couple of years being rebuilt for next gen consoles and will be rebranded as FFXV however as much as everyone would love that with FF XIII-3 and FFXIV a Realm Reborn already due to come out in the neat future that's a lot of mainline FF titles already in the works so if they do reveal it don't expect it to be coming out for some time. Lorenzo Veloria is holding out for major Nintendo news: Completely with you on this, of all the big three companies this year Nintendo seems to be the least likely to fail with the confirmation of a new 3D Mario and Smash Bros. games for Wii U along with a bevy of quality 3DS and Wii-U titles they seem pretty much set to have a great E3, I'm also incredibly curious about if they're going to reveal what Retro Studios is working on, F-Zero? Star-Fox? A 2-D Metroid? MegaMan? No one outside of knows and I really want to find out. Henry Gilbert is excited for a new 3D Mario: Yup. It's a new 3D Mario, done by the people behind the Galaxy series and 3D land don't really have to explain why I'm excited for this. How is it going to play differently? What's it going to look like? What new power-ups will their be? Will it be related to the year of Weegie somehow? There's a lot of questions that going to be answered very soon. Greg Henninger wants Halo 5: Ooh this is a hard one to answer. On one hand I LOVE Halo games, they just strike a chord with me. On the other hand because of this I really want them to take their time with Halo 5 to polish it and refine it, to add tons of new features and gameplay elements, to make it feel new and unique, to make it feel like what you're playing truly is "Combat Evolved" once again. If they announce that they're working on it at E3 that's fine, just so long as they take their time working on it before they release it, I just want them to take their time to look at Halo 4, expand upon what worked in that game while fixing what didn't and throwing in new gameplay features/modes as well as the return of old ones and I want to see some curveballs thrown in there (particularly in the single player) to make a new, fresh and incredibly fun experience. Justin Towell is excited for Smash Bros.: Already did a massive comment on Smash Bros. on the character request article so all I have to say is this. No. Tripping. There's a couple of other things that need to be fixed here and there but that's one of the simplest and most important improvements that can be made. Andy Hartup is looking forward to being shocked: Oh man this is by far the best bit of the show, when something comes completely out of nowhere and makes you blow both your mind and your load everywhere, this was also one of the reasons I found last years E3 so disappointing, since there was only really one game that came out of nowhere and surprised everyone which was Watch Dogs. Hopefully with the new consoles at the show developers take the opportunity to bring out some big surprises and big new games. Tom Magrino wants to find out what makes the Xbox One and PS4 different: Developers can tout all the new features on their consoles they want but what I really want to know is how they will affect my gaming experience, if they are going to talk about special features about their hardware, I want them to talk about how this can be used to enhance gameplay, how it can improve my games, not about television, sports and social networking crap. Brian Kim hopes he gets to keep his organs: If worse comes to pass and you have to get rid of a few organs to pay for the new systems I know a guy who can help you out, don't worry he's a completely qualified surgeon, hell they even made a game about him...

As for games I know will be at E3, the new Smash Bros. game is the one I'm interested at the most as well as Destiny, CoD: Ghost, Pokemon X and Y, and a few more. Now for the games I want to be announced at E3 is mainly Just Cause 3 but also a new Star Fox and F-Zero games. It this can happen, then I would happily crown this E3 to be the best I ever watched.
  • Bionichute - June 9, 2013 8:48 a.m.

Things I expect from E3: - New, awesome Rayman Legends news. - New, awesome Smash Brothers reveal. - Banjo-Kazooie minigame collection for the Kinect. - Killer Instinct 3 for the Kinect. - A completely awful Microsoft conference. - Waluigi in the new Mario Kart game.

I agree with bladed falcon. I am waiting to hear about the ps4 and am hoping it does not end up similar to xbox one and instead lives up to the ps4s original announcement

I can't wait until Valve announces Source 2 and Orange Box 2 at E3 this year. Everyone will be SOOOOO excited! Until they announce that Orange Box 2 will contain Alien Swarm 2, Day of Defeat 2, and CS:GO 2. Then everybody will uninstall Steam out of anger, only to install Steam 2 when it gets announced and released a few days later. I can't wait until E2 this year!!!!

Infamous second son and Killzone shadow fall. I'm really interested in seeing how both these games move their series' forward.
  • Frieza - June 8, 2013 6:15 p.m.

The only two things I'm really looking forward to is Smash Bros. and Pokemon. I would love to see a new F-Zero game as well. We're long due on that franchise, and I can see it benefiting the most from HD graphics.

If your name wasn't attached to that comment, I'd believed I said it myself.

I just want Nintendo to announce a bunch of hype games for Wii U. I feel like nintendo would have to try real hard this year to dissapoint people. But we already know about some cool games on the way already so..yeah.. Sony i just some info on new IPs really, seeing the console / price etc would be cool too. Not that worried about sony so long as they don't copy M$ DRM crap. And microsoft themselves...Yeah i couldn't care less for them right now ~:| They have to make a pretty giant miracle happen for gamers to be happy with them after the past month or so.. >.>
  • shawksta - June 8, 2013 1:21 p.m.

Im definitely hyped for allot of stuff, what Sony has got under their sleeves, if Microsoft can flip around the shit they got into, Square Enix, other 3rd surprises and especially about Nintendo. I agree with Andy, one of the.best things about E3 is the surprises and I definitely want more of that, I still remember the awesome Sly 4 teaser, with that hilarious Demitry ending, and that 3DS movie in 2011 on the screen with Mario Kart, Star Fox, a quick glimpse of 3D Land,Kid Icarus Uprising and then ending with out of nowhere, Luigi's Mansion. It also applies to games you know will be there but don't expect when they are fully revealed which we can definitely expect.

I'm looking forward to Sony's conference in general. I want to know exactly where the PS4 stands in comparison to the XB One. Sony has a massive opportunity here to ride the back of the borked Xbox reveal; Microsoft's conference will likely be a flustered face-saving attempt. If they come out with something similar to Microsoft (entertainment centre focus, user restrictions etc) so many people are going to be disappointed. I sure hope they're taking a different direction. I do want to hear about their streaming services though. Imagine if they repurpose and combine PS Plus with it to essentially create a subscription service like Netflix for PlayStation games. It would solve the backwards compatibility issues, anyway. Also I just wanna see what the box looks like! I hope Nintendo reveals a big new IP too. It would be cool if the main character from said IP is revealed at the climax/end of the Smash trailer, so everyone is like "who's that!? Wait, does this mean...?!" and then they move onto the new IP and confirm everyone's suspicions. Or something.

All I know is, if The Last Guardian isn't there, I'll probably cry :(

Considering it's track record I'll grab the tissues. :(
