Well, at least her hair isn't utterly and completely obscuring her vision, unlike that other chick who presumably got eaten in an earlier trailer.

If Capcom want to be really edgy, she should have one unshaven leg!

This is Capcom we're talking about here, they're well known for creating over-sexualized characters for the sake of profit. That's why I don't buy games from them, because I just can't be immersed when the people I play as are such blatant stereotypes.

Well, I wouldn't call this oversexualization so much as it is wierdlysexualization.

Like Ivy from Soul Calibur is oversexualization. The girl from X-Blades is oversexualization. This is more just... odd.

u serously don't buy games because of that? then u miss out quite some quality-stuff out there

How the hell am I supposed to take a game seriously as a survival horror game when all the characters look like pornstars? If the games name was "Super Booty Scare IV" I would understand, but it seems like Capcom doesn't know the meaning of "overboard"

"Ooooh, Chun Li! You're so overly sexualised that I just can't stand to play this really good game! Your thighs are the things of wet dreams the world over!" When you break it down, it looks silly...

This is RE which is supposed to bring survival horror back, not Street fighter. In a survival horror game one of the most important thing is atmosphere. Whatever distracts you from the seriousness of a horror game is not good. A fighting game is a different thing. There is no such thing as atmosphere and tension. In most Fighting games costumes are a way to make each character different. Costumes play a large role in these games. They could do better than sexy outfits and bouncing boobs but it does not matter that much. Bayonetta is also a different thing. Its not a horror game. Its a silly action game were everything is exaggerated. Somehow an exaggerated unrealistic sexy outfit fits with the games style.

Zombies stole the other leg of her swimsuit. Duh. OR... she wanted to do the two sexy legs look, but her other covered leg is actually hiding a mutated zombie leg, Evil Dead 2 style. Plot twist! Sequel potential!

    Nice attention to detail Justin.

Stupid modern games and their stupid stereotypes. How can you immerse yourself in a survival horror situation (assuming the game supports it) with characters like this? Its completely out of topic with the whole game. Its distracting and no fun. I guess 13 year old teens love to masturbate to things like that but RE is, supposedly, a series for grown ups (at least that's how it started) and as a grown up gamer i find things like that almost offensive for my intelligence. I know its just a game, but the whole industry follows the same examples lately. Sorry, i got carried away there.

"I guess 13 year old teens love to masturbate to things like that." Why are you pointing fingers at a younger audience? Granted, the stereotypical teenage boy is a hound dog with sex always on the mind, but that is STEREOTYPING. Now that's out of the way. Anyways, Imgema, I agree with what you're saying. Mostly. It is very distracting when they put something like this into a video game, especially when characters are always pointing it out. Dead Rising 2 and OfT are fun zombie games, especially with a friend, but there is so much pointless sex appeal in it. Also, Capcom makes almost every single female character seem like she's putting herself out there. Which is degrading to women.. A majority of their games are zombie, fighting, or apocalyptic. And I know that in a zombie situation, I would love to have a lot of protection. Hell, I'd live in a tank if I could, in that situation. A lot of games, especially JRPGs, have been following this for a while now. They should turn it down a notch.

I mean that younger boys who are more curious about sex would be more interested and more impressed with characters like that (i don't have to say not all of them, there are always exceptions) so excuse my controversial original explanation. Adults are already "fed up" and more experienced so companies don't need to make that kind of stuff to "lure" them.

How tall is she ? Almost looked like Bayonetta
  • rob619 - January 31, 2012 7:15 a.m.

Forget one sexy leg, I wanted the full set :)
  • MasterBhater - January 31, 2012 7:09 a.m.

It's called style AND sense, duh! If one leg is absolutely freezing and turning blue, then the other one will always seem warm!

    You've spelt Revelaitons wrong...

Ha! Brilliant :) I was just about to scroll upwards and look for the typo...
