This is gay how can you say there bad parents if you teach your child right he'll know its just a game.

I wouldn't go so far as to say a terrible parent but maybe an uninformed parent. I'm sure there are bad parents that do buy it, though.

    Lazlow's a cool dude.

@PhantomDave--funny because it's true. Lazlow is right. People are dumb.

I used to work in the electronics department of a major retailer......and one of my favorite times of the day was when a parent would come in with their snot nosed bratling and want to buy a GTA or similar game. I'd make sure to tell them it's rated M and then proceed to tell them in detail WHY it was rated M. On the special occasion a parent actually lived up to their night of forgotten condom use, that they'd turn to their kid and tell them there was no way they'd buy that for them....and then to see the kid spaz out at not getting it....those were some really good times.

I give up on debating on this so i choose to leave a sigh. "Sigh"

I completely agree with him and it's good that he actually had the balls to directly tell the audience that he was talking to that they're morons for letting children play what was essentially an "R-rated" game. Sorry but how goddamn hard is it for parents or non-gamers to understand that if their, or other peoples, kids go and shoot up a school or university then it's because they're mentally ****ed in the head?! Ugh... my Tali icon is no longer even amused by people's stupidity anymore because it's overplayed...though it was mentioned that the media is drifting away from this now :3

Lazlow's right. Parents would not let there kids watch The Godfather Trilogy or Scarface, so why let them play Grand Theft Auto? Because it's a video game?

if parents actually listened to what rockstar SAYS, they'd be less profitable. and the dicks KNOW it. then again... i understand why they "say it" (don't think they mean it, as explained above), but i was perfectly fine playing gta3 at 15-16, because we all knew it was just a game. however, this gta4 and their graphic sexuality stuff (which is what we most care about at 15) makes me thinkg that maybe they're right, you shouldn't play it till you're... 17. xD

its not like he really needed to say it but either way good. i remember going to a gamestop and a lady was buying her little kid gta for the psp and the guy at the counter was decent enough to say "you know this is really violent and is rated m for mature?" all the lady cared about was whether or not the game had characters saying the n-word (she was that freakin matters)
