Codemasters has released a new video for GRID (Race Driver: GRID in the UK) that shows off a mode reminiscent of the rewind mode in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
The feature, dubbed 'Flashback,' allows players to inspect the detail of any crash using a rotating camera and go through the carnage frame-by-frame.
At any point during the replay, players can start racing again and attempt to avoid the crash that brought their racing career to an abrupt end.
Players can use the function up to five times during any race, but purists can turn it off when in Pro Mode.
GRID is released this Friday in the UK for PC, 360 and PS3, with a DS version to follow. The US will have to wait 'til June 3 before GRID hits shelves.
