When Peppy Hare taught a generation how to do a barrel roll during their time with N64 classic Star Fox 64, we never thought it would become such a cultural touchstone. Sure, our friends and colleagues knew the importance of barrel rolls, but now something as huge and powerful as Google has a sly wink to the furry space opera. Just type “do a barrel roll” into the search bar and see what we mean.

We already knew Google likes games, but this little Easter egg confirms it again. What other wonders does Google hold? Has anyone tried typing in “What is a man?” Did you get a miserable little pile of secrets?

Instead of doing a quick article on one G-Easter Egg, you could have turned this into a great search-engine-whoring article if you'd actually included some more of them. Instead, you did quite the opposite by enticing people to bypass the site and go straight to the search engine. Sorry, being really cynical due to sleep-dep and caffeine OD, but this really COULD have been a great article... I still love you guys.
