Free and paid Medal of Honor DLC coming November 2

"Online Pass" holders will be receiving free Medal of Honor DLC on November 2, as promised. Announced about a week ago, the package introduces a new multiplayer elimination mode, called "Clean Sweep," two redesigned maps (Diwagal Camp and Kabul City Ruins), and two new maps (Bagram Hangar and Khyber Caves).

One of the issues I had with MoH's multiplayer was the lack of map variety - a problem which this DLC may help alleviate.

But wait, there's more! Not content with not making money, EA announced today that it's releasing a second DLC pack on the same day. The download will include another new mode, called "Hot Zone," which is a king-of-the-hill-style capture-and-hold battle. Like the free DLC, the mode will come with two new maps, Hindukush Pass and Korengal Outpost, as well as redesigned versions of Shahikot Valley and Helmand Valley. But unlike the free DLC, Hot Zone will cost 800 MS points, or $9.99 on PSN and PC.

wait people are still playing medal of honor? I was so excited for this game loved SINGLEPLAYER and loved the 2 games I played online before EA's Servers went down and I couldnt log on for three days on playstation network. so what did I do? I returned it for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 LMFAO. EA always has shitty servers and I cant even log onto AUTOLOG for the Hot Pursuit demo... An that is a hyped CLASSIC OLD SCHOOL NEED FOR SPEED blah blah that was a must buy for me. But if I cant log on to the EA servers to play the main part of that game which is being online? I may just hold onto my cash and buy BLACK OPS since I know that those servers will be working and if something happens they actually FIX them. if it wasnt for their shitty customer service and online service Id spend my money on EA... IN SHORT FUCK EA.

It will be interesting to see the sales the paid for DLC will generate. Based on the large number of trade-ins that I have seen already with this title the user base has already shrunk up.

I really love MoH multiplayer's gameplay, as others have said here I think it is pretty fair and I enjoy its straightforward quality. But one huge problem in the game is map design and spawn points, especially on the smaller maps. Yesterday I got hit by a mortar strike on spawn, only to spawn right into a missile strike (along with half my team), only to get head shot on spawn. They need to vary the spawn points more, right now they are like funnels for snipers... I too wonder what will happen to the player base once black ops comes out...makes me question buying any DLC at this point...They should have just given it all away for free (and maybe done what BFBC2 did with separate paid DLC for skins) But I know that that won't ever happen with EA...

Will it be worth buying? Considering all the kids will flock to Black Ops a week later? Sadly, I can see MoH dying, and I hate to say that as it is a gem of a game.

With you all the way minelbp. Admittedly it's not the best online game ever made but MW2 isn't either and millions of people play that shit day in day out. It's pretty frantic at times but pretty much always feels fair. Considering that they're offering free dlc as well that really means you get 4 new maps, 4 retooled maps and 2 new game modes for 800 points. Yeah that's a total rip off. Saw loads of people whining on CVG yesterday you'd have thought an EA employee had pissed on their family on Christmas Day. Good or bad though I'm going to support any DICE developed product. They are the shit, quite simply, and with my hard earned they'll be less inclined to make Mirror's Edge 2.

I usually buy map packs - but MoH is a brilliant little game. May make an exception

I' am buying these on day one. This is my second favorite online game, right behind Bad Company 2. At first I was like meh, but after leveling up and getting some sweet new equipment the game exploded onto my face. LOve it. Too bad everyone else don't feel same way, numbers of players online has already started to decrease :(

If any of those maps work for Combat Mission I might snag them. Since Combat Mission is the only gametype I really enjoy.
