First Assassin's Creed Revelations trailer and screens have shocking, um... revelations

Even though it’s only a preview of what Ubisoft will no doubt unveil during its E3 press conference on June 6, at least this is a relatively long teaser filled with interesting moments. Billed as the final chapter in the Ezio trilogy of games, the trailer certainly has an air of finality to it, as Ezio explains how his end seems near. With glimpses of Mr. Auditore da Firenze cutting into fools interspersed with flashes of a man who seems to be Atlair, it ends with a shocking moment of the assassins’ trademark hidden blade being broken.

Along with enigmatic trailer, we also got our first real burst of screens for Revelations. So now you have something else to mull over as you wait for June 6, when the big news will be publicized on what seems to be a slow day for stories. You know, aside from Microsoft and Sony’s press conferences.

Woo minarets! Jumping off those was what AC1 was all about, glad the series is heading back East. I'm actually excited for this, I know people are saying Ubi are milking it but let's be honest, Brotherhood was a great game, and how many games have you played set in Turkey? That said, based on this trailer, Ezio's Italian voice is a lot cooler/more convincing than his English one, so I'm hoping the relocation to Constantinople doesn't remove that option from the audio settings...

Isn't the background music also in the Deus Ex trailers.

Assassin's Creed is one of my favorite series, so I'm really looking forward to this. I'm a bit disappointed that III isn't the next game but I love Ezio so this looks like a nice closing chapter to his story. I still don't get why Ubisoft insists on making a big deal out of Altair. They put him up on a pedestal, hailing that he is the greatest assassin ever. While yes he is key to the story, Ezio seems like more of a badass and a much more interesting character. Altair is one of the most boring characters of this generation so I just wish Ubisoft wouldn't play him up so much. I hope this one deals with Ezio a lot more than Altair. I'm really looking forward to E3 though. Can't wait!

This NEEDS to be the final ezio game. Has to be. Assassins creed is dangerously close to becoming stale. After this, they have to give us something new. Something as significant as the jump from one to two.

Seems epic enough, but if this doesn't lead to three i'll be a little pissed (just look what happened to kingdom hearts)

This looks good. Ubisoft really work to make sure that these games don't feel rushed out, even though they're done in a year.
