Here's the debut trailer for
Dungeon Fighter Live: Fall of Hendon Myre, the XBLA conversion of
Nexon's popular PC ARPG Dungeon Fighter Online. Developed by Nexon subsidiary Neople, the title will be
distributed by Microsoft Studios later this year.
Dungeon Fighter Live will
retain the same basic gameplay as its predecessor, which is to say
it'll be like a satisfyingly deep and lasting version of Castle
Crashers and the ilk – or a bit like Capcom's Dungeons and Dragons arcade
titles, with the welcome addition of Nihilistic Demon Stones and the
ability to play as a Desperado. Neople promises plenty to entice some
of D&F's 300 million users onto XBLA. Besides the obvious tweaks
to gameplay and graphics (four-player co-op, 720p), the game promises
an item-crafting system and all-new storyline in which, spoiler
alert, Hendon Myre will probably not fare too well.
