Dragon's Crown releases August 6

Vanillaware's RPG brawler hitting PS3 and PS Vita

Dragon's Crown will release in North America on August 6, publisher Atlus announced today. The RPG brawler from Vanllaware, developers of Odin Sphere and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, will hit PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita simultaneously.

Vanillaware's trademark painterly visuals make the four exaggerated main characters memorable, to say the least, and players will be able to level up and loot either alone or in four-player online co-op.

Both versions will support cross-saves, but you'll have to buy them individually to take advantage of it, according to Destructoid. The PlayStation 3 version will cost $50, or $40 for PS Vita. No European release date has yet been announced.
