The Dead Rising remasters are shuffling onto Xbox One and PS4 on September 13

The previous-gen Dead Rising games have lost their luster in the 10 years since the original game's debut, but thankfully, Capcom is releasing remastered versions for PS4 and Xbox One on September 13.

Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off The Record will each be given a 1080p resolution, 60 fps facelift for current-gen consoles, and each of these upscaled games will also include all previously-released DLC costumes. You'll be able to purchase each game individually for $20 / £15.99, or in a package deal for $50 / £40 - but you only get the discount if you pre-order.

If you're a big fan of Dead Rising 2, you might notice that these remasters lack the Case Zero and Case West stories which showed the events leading up to and immediately after DR2's story. But hey, we all make sacrifices. After all, DR2 hero Chuck is fighting to save his daughter and Frank, well, he's covered wars y'know.
