Darkness II trailer shows how to properly rip someone’s head off

We knew already that Darkness II was gory. That it was filled with M-Rated gore and gunplay where people died in visceral flurries of blood. But we had no clue just how deep it could go until we saw this trailer. Watch this grisly/creative new trailer to see just how many ways protagonist Jackie Estacado’s shadowy friends can rip apart those unlucky enough to cross their path.

Wow, after the second one of those we just felt bad for the guy Jackie was killing in self-defense. And we don’t think we’ll ever be the same after learning what an “Assecution” is. Though even the most squeamish have to appreciate all the interesting carnage the developers dreamed up. Check out our recent preview if you’d like to get a little deeper with next year’s horror FPS.

I was visibly cringing during some of these until the word "assecution" popped up, and I started laughing. But the gore looks like it'll be very satisfying.

Now we just have to hope Neil Patrick Harris and Dave Chappelle make a cameo. "Not bad whitey, but if it was me, I'd have ripped his spine out his ass".

I saw about 7 executions that were cooler than all the original Darkness executions. I hope Mike Patton is revising his role as The Darkness!

....Wow, incredibly gross and awesome at the same time XD and quite a humiliating way to destroy someone. Not even MK ever came close to something like this XD

    Assecution. Good Lord.
