If Frank gets enough PP, he's able to level up (Apparently it's possible to do this in the demo, email me if it is) and have stronger abilities. These are the pictures possible to get in the demo. Colour: Blue Genre: Horror Description: These are the bog standard pictures of zombies. These are usually zombies shambling around, if you want to get alot of PP try and get a massive crowd of them. Otherwise, it's not worth it. Ideal times to take horror pictures: -Zombies surrounding you -You standing in front of a crowd of zombies Colour: Red Genre: Brutality Description: Incorporating the most violent scenes in the game, players need to be quick to capture a brutality photo. Most commonly these pictures are taken during a zombie's attack animation, or if they happen to be ferociously gnawing on a random arm. Also included in this genre are explosions, which can be captured when fighting the dynamite wielding, suicidal cult members, or detonating a propane tank. Ideal Time to take Brutality Pics: -When you are about to be attacked by a zombie. -Zombies being injured for one reason or another. Colour: Pink Genre: Erotica Description: If there's any revealing slim female zombies wearing things like a tube top or lingerie, this counts as an Erotica picture. This only seems to work for these kind of zombies Ideal Times to take Erotica Pictures: -When said zombies are dead -When they are in an attack animation to get more PP -Try and get more then one Erotica worthy candidate Colour: Green Genre: Outtake Description: Catch a zombie in a humourous position. Basically, this is the humour of Dead Rising. Try and get more zombies being hilarious to get more PP Ideal Times for Outtakes: -Putting a ServeBot head on a zombie or a bucket on them -In Jill's Sandwiches, get the cooking oil. Throw it on the floor and get a zombie or a few zombies to walk over it. -Put a hangar in a zombie's mouth -See a zombie fall Colour: Grey Genre: No Genre Description: This photo type applies to any particularly bad pictures where nothing was really captured, or to irrelevant things around the mall. Ideal Times to get No Genre pictures: -Taking pictures of shop signs or anything that isn't relevant to the genre Getting additional PP: PP can also be achieved by doing certain tasks such as the one below. These are the ones available so far in the demo. Hitting a zombie with a charged baseball bat strike Decapitate a zombie with a scythe Punching a zombie to death Using a frying pan on a stove Bowling the bowling bowl into a group of zombies Some books might get you some additional PP also Killing a certain number of zombies (there's milestones) earns you extra PP. --------------------------------------------------------- 5. Endings --------------------------------------------------------- Yes, you can get quite a few different endings in the demo. The demo puts you in a section of the mall called Paradise Plaza but if you try to leave through the various exits a cutscene will trigger and the demo will end. This section will tell you how to get these endings. (Names given aren't the official ones, just for easy reference) Ending One: Cinema Ritual How To Unlock: Leave through the "Movieworld" cinema, close to Jill's Sandwiches What the ending is: Frank enters the cinema to find a ritual taking place with a mad religious cultist ranting about people who reject salvation embrace ignorance. Ending Two: Sniper Family How to Unlock: Leave through the Entrance Plaza What the ending is: A Dad and one of his sons aiming at Frank to shoot him so he can no longer pose a threat, and getting his other son, Thomas to shoot him even though he doesn’t want to. Ending Three: Jeep Convicts How To Unlock: Leave via the entrance of the mall that leads to Leisure Park What the ending is: Franks enters the outside area nearly being hit by several convicts in a jeep. The jeep then aims at two survivors, one being killed by a convict with a baseball bat. Ending Four: Bees How To Unlock: Leave through the warehouse door to Frank's right at the start What the ending is: Franks enters an area crowded with zombies. A bee flies and annoys him until he squishes it. When he does, the zombies around him begin to spasm before falling to the floor and having their heads explode. Ending Five: Dusk of the Dead How To Unlock: Let the 15 minute time limit run out (from 5pm to 7pm) What the ending is: Night falls over Willamette Mall and the wandering zombies’ eyes' begin to turn red... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6. Conclusion ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Thanks to: Chris Lucas, a friend of mine who helped me create this guide by adding things I forgot to put in and helping me alot with finding weapons I missed, covering the topic of PP and helping me find extra places to earn PP and helping me with endings three and four.
