The bars I go to just serve drinks. I like a Corona with a lime or perhaps a Sapporo (if I’m feeling extra fancy and there’s sushi nearby). But now that I’ve seen what I could be drinking at a special Catherine-themed bar that just opened in Japan, plain beer just sounds stale.
In preparation for Catherine’s launch in Japan tomorrow, Atlus has worked with specialty restaurant Collabo Dining to produce a customized drink and meal menu themed after the unusual JRPG. Located in Tokyo, Collabo Dining will be serving original cocktails based on the cast of characters in Catherine along with a special “Stray Sheep” pizza dish. Patrons will be able to order from the custom Catherine-themed menu from February 17 until March 31.

Catherine is scheduled to release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan on February 17, tomorrow. Although a localized release for western audiences has not been announced, we can’t imagine that Atlus will pass on the opportunity. Let’s hope we don’t have to wait too long for the game to make its way here. In the meantime, we've got a great video preview of the Catherine demo, which we grabbed from the Japan PlayStation Network. Head to our Catherine Full Access Preview video to check it out.
