    I voted for the blonde, def the best looking "Shepard" but really I don't care what the face is since the best thing about Bioware RPGs is customizing the character to your liking anyways.

    She look's to soft her eyes and the expression on her face are serious but her skin look's like it's never has got any dirt on it, or any thing.Unlike male shapard you look's battle harden and been in a fight before.

    I voted for the blonde, but the one on the right was my second choice. Doesn't really matter to me though, if the import does my femshep justice I'll probably just continue to use her.

    All the default Shepards (male and female) look too young and inexperienced. The core of Shepard's character is his/her natural leadership forged through great struggles, and I just don't see that coming from a good-looking 28-year-old. That's why my Shep looks like he's about 40, with a proper military haircut and a face that says "I've seen shit you wouldn't believe, so back off!"

    But my FemShep has black hair... Anyhoo, the generic default Shepard on the previous games boxart always pissed me off because they looked nothing like my Shep. For the cover, why not just keep their helmet on? Everybody wins.

    I dunno. The blonde one just looks like a real soldier/Commander, while the other one looks like Janet Jackson doing a Mass Effect cosplay.

    I still say the Ginger Renegade should have won. Redhead femShep was so much more badass than the Samus clone

    No complaints here. Granted, I didn't know this was going on up until now and therefore have no idea what the other options were, so I might be a little biased...

    Femshep should not be on the box. don;t care how sexist it sounds, but male shepard is the only shepard.

    I think blond FemShep only won due to her hair style. Granted, she was my fave overall but ah well. I'm still going to stick with my Shep Roslyn, and she's not going to change one bit.

    I guess the long, unbound hair is ok since in the distant future it's less likely to get caught in the guns... right? :P If not... Ouch! I kinda like the brunette on the right better, although the the way her hair sits over her eye would limit visibility and her hair's dark colour kinda fades into the dark background; but, again, futuristic combat issues not-withstanding, I like the look better.
