Assassin's Creed Liberation Vita trailer shows Aveline's moves

At this point we've seen so much of Assassin's Creed 3 that we pretty much know what to expect. We've seen Connor hunting Redcoats in downtown Boston. We've seen the awesome Revolution-era propaganda video. But Liberation, the series' next installment on a Sony handheld which takes place around the same time as AC3 is still much more of a mystery.

The Assassin's Creed series has a solid history on Sony handhelds, with a PSP entry that wasn't perfect but exhibited some borderline console-like play. We're very excited to see what Ubisoft can create using the power of the untapped PlayStation Vita.

Looks interesting. Not gonna buy a Vita for it, though. It'd be nice if it could get ported to PS3 and 360. Anyone know what song that is? Can't place it.

It's "Glass" From Bat for Lashes.

I can only think of one psp game in history that got a port to consoles. That was Peace walker.

There was quite a few PSP to PS2 ports but yeah Peace Walker was the only one to ever come to PS3/360

Oh, man that's such a good idea. I would be ALL OVER that if they did a console port for the Vita/PSP games like Konami did with Peace Walker in the MGS HD Collection.

I'm not too shocked they decided to make good use of all the assets they have - if the plot is good, AC can just continue on literally forever. Even sufficiently interesting characters that have almost nothing to do with the Apple would be well worth a look.

Looks a lot bette than Bloodlines. Sole reason to buy a ps vita.

This is where the Vita's second stick is going to really pay off I think. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting this, though not for a while after it's released. I have yet to finish Brotherhood, let alone start Revelations. Still, this looks like a handheld release of an action game series that I'd actually want to get.

Yeah, if Vita can get a few more games that look as baller as this one, I'll be all over it.
